Trekking
For lovers of trekking and nature, excursions organized by the co-op TERRA in the pristine forests among the remains of ancient forts between Mount Melonta, Monte Città di Fallera and Monte Arale from which you enjoy magnificent views of the mountains of the five regions Toscana, Marche, Abruzzo, Lazio and Umbria off course. All around the view of the small towns with ancient castles: Montegiove, Castel dei Fiori, Greppolischieto, Pornello.
Lovers of trekking can learn more about the vast area that stretches from the hills of the Trasimeno lake up to the plateau of the tuffs, between Orvieto and Bolsena, along the 5 “rings”
MOUNTAIN BIKE
At Agriturismo Cornieto, adventure begins on two wheels! Nestled in the Umbrian hills, our farmhouse is the ideal starting point for exciting mountain bike excursions. Dirt roads, paths through woods and olive groves, breathtaking views and clean air: cycling here is a regenerating experience, in direct contact with nature. Whether you are an expert biker or a novice enthusiast, you will find itineraries suitable for every level. Bring your bike… or ask us for advice on where to rent one!
SPORT FISHING
If you love the tranquility of nature and sport fishing, the “Le Sorre” lake is the ideal destination for a relaxing and fun day. Located just 8 km from the Agriturismo Cornieto, along the road that connects Fabro to Parrano, this corner surrounded by greenery welcomes you with clear and well-populated waters, perfect for testing yourself with the fishing rod.
Ideal for families, enthusiasts and for those looking for a regenerating alternative to classic tourism, the lake offers a natural context of great beauty, perfect for enjoying free time in the open air
HORSEMANSHIP
Horseback riding in the beautiful surrounding trails, crossing the medieval towns of Monteleone d’Orvieto and Fabro, Parrano, Montegabbione, Montegiove and Castel di Fiori, while enjoying the spectacular views from the summit of Mount Peglia or take riding lessons (western riding, English and Maremma ) organized by Mimmo. SPELEOLOGICAL VISITS
Guided tours by expert speleologists are possible at the “Tane del Diavolo”, these are vast karst caves dug into the walls of a gorge, at the foot of the town of Parrano, subject of important archaeological finds dating back to the Eneolithic (3rd millennium BC). At the entrance to the gorge there is a mineral spring with a temperature of about 28°C that flows at the base of the limestone.
